B. Wayne Hughes’s Spendthrift Farm has acquired a 50% ownership interest in graded stakes winner Keepmeinmind (Laoban). The 3-year-old colt was second behind Essential Quality (Tapit) in the GI Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity and third behind that subsequent champion in the GI Breeders’ Cup Juvenile before concluding his 2-year-old campaign with a win in the GII Kentucky Jockey Club S. He currently sits second on the GI Kentucky Derby leaderboard with 18 points.
“We are delighted to be a part of such an exciting young racehorse as Keepmeinmind, and thankful to Cypress Creek and Arnold Bennewith for the opportunity to join the team,” said Ned Toffey, Spendthrift general manager. “We believe Keepmeinmind is poised for a big 3-year-old year. He demonstrated tremendous talent as a 2-year-old, placing twice in Grade Is, including the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile and finishing up the year in style with a convincing win in the Kentucky Jockey Club S. at Churchill.”
Campaigned by Cypress Creek LLC and Arnold Bennewith, Keepmeinmind is entered in next Saturday’s GII Risen Star S. at Fair Grounds and will make his seasonal debut either there or in the Feb. 15 GIII Southwest S. at Oaklawn Park.
Trained by Robertino Diodoro, the bay colt is expected to work at Oaklawn Monday morning before a decision is made on his next start.
“There’s a couple of variables,” Diodoro told the Oaklawn communications department on a decision between the two races. “I think we’re going to wait and see the next 72 hours. The short field here is a little bit of a concern with his running style. If you’ve got a speed horse, like a couple of guys do in the race, perfect having five, six horses. But when you have a come from behinder, that’s not the most ideal thing.”
Keepmeinmind recently breezed a bullet five furlongs in :59 flat (1/17) Feb. 2 at Oaklawn.
Autrey Bloodstock brokered the deal for Spendthrift to join the current ownership group.

President Joe Biden in interview with CBS News’ Norah O’Donnell.Screenshot: CBS NewsStarting tomorrow, all NFL stadiums will sit empty through the winter, spring, and summer. Why not use these large, mostly outdoor, venues for the public good? In a Super Bowl pregame interview with CBS, President Joe Biden said he would like to use all 30 NFL stadiums as mass vaccination sites. In an exchange with CBS News’ Norah O’Donnell, Biden said he, “got a call through commissioner [Roger] Goodell saying we could have all 32 NFL stadiums available for mass vaccinations.” There are, of course, only 30 NFL stadiums because the Jets and Giants share the same turf, as do the Rams and Chargers. But that’s besides the point.“Are you going to use them? NFL stadiums to vaccinate?” O’Donnell asked.“Absolutely we will,” Biden responded. “I mean, let me put it this way, I’m going to tell my team they’re available and I believe we’ll use them.”G/O Media may get a commissionHere’s the entire segment from CBS.Earlier in the interview, O’Donnell pressed Biden on the vaccine rollout noting that “at the current rate of 1.3 million doses per day, it’s going to take almost a year to get [to herd immunity, approximately 75 percent of Americans vaccinated].“Can we wait that long?” asked O’Donnell.“No, we can’t,” said Biden, hence the reason to speed up the process and find spaces to inoculate thousands of Americans a day.Seven NFL teams; Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots, already host vaccination sites at their stadiums, and more pro sports teams are offering their venues up as well. On Friday, Yankee Stadium began vaccinating Bronx residents. In the letter to Biden obtained by the AP, Goodell said football stadiums would be a good place to vaccinate because many have served as testing centers and election sites. “We look forward to further discussion with your administration as well as your partners in state and local governments to advance this effort,” Goodell wrote. .

Four more Premier League took place on Sunday, starting in the Capital at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Spurs welcomed West Brom to North London…
Tottenham Hotspur 2 West Bromwich Albion 0
This was must-win for both sides but for very different reasons, Spurs were on a poor run which has seen them slip to ninth and seven points off the top four, whilst for The Baggies they needed wins to try and make up the gap to safety, which was a huge eleven points at kick-off. The hosts were given a boost prior to kick-off after Harry Kane made a surprise return to the line-up, something the visitors would not have wanted to see, but West Brom had a certain Ansley Maitand-Niles making his Baggies debut in this one.
Could the midfielder, on loan from Spurs bitter North London rivals Arsenal, help cause a big result for the visitors? Well, the first half was pretty much attack against defence as Spurs tried to find a way through a resolute Baggies backline, and their goal led a charmed life at times but they defended solidly and frustrated Spurs throughout, and West Brom’s only real chance of the half was a huge one, and it came right at the end of the half, as a cross found Mbaye Diagne free at the back post and his header was superbly saved by Hugo Lloris, it really would have been a smash and grab that, although replays showed he was offside, it was a warning to Spurs though, and the sides went into the break with no score.
Eight minutes into the second period and Spurs finally had the breakthrough, as a lovely ball from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg found Kane who was onside and he took it on and slotted across keeper Sam Johnstone and into the far corner, relief for Spurs and now The Baggies had to try and come out a bit more now if they were to get anything from this one. Just before the hour mark though Spurs broke in devastating fashion as Kane chested a lovely ball into the path of Lucas Moura who charged upfield and then he laid in Son Heung-min who fired a powerful effort that was too much for Johnstone and Spurs now had a two-goal cushion. Could the Baggies respond?
The only two big moments going forward saw Diagne find the net twice, but he was offside on both occasions, and Spurs ran out fairly comfortable winners to give them a boost after a run of three straight defeats. As for West Brom, they worked hard today but didn’t really show enough going forward to have any chance of winning this game, and wins is what they need desperately now as games are running out fast.
Onto the afternoon games now, first up it was a Midlands derby at Molineux, and then a biggie from Anfield…
Wolverhampton Wanderers 0 Leicester City 0
Both these sides had positive results in the week, Wolves grabbed the first win in several games after coming from behind to defeat Arsenal and end their unbeaten run, whilst The Foxes got back to winning ways with a comfortable victory at Fulham, and the visitors knew a win here would take them level on points with second-placed Man United.
But no doubt Wolves would have liked to build on that result in midweek, so this was set up to be a decent Midlands derby, and it was the hosts who had the best two chances in the opening twenty minutes, with Pedro Neto looking particularly dangerous down the left for Wolves. Leicester then had a couple of openings thanks largely to the quality of James Maddison and Harvey Barnes, but the Wolves defence stood firm, and this tightly contested Midlands derby yielded no goals in the opening forty-five minutes, so could one of these sides produce a moment of magic to break the shackles in the second period?
Adama Traore was getting more and more into the game and causing the visitors problems down the right, whilst Leicester brought on the returning Jamie Vardy after the hour mark to try and make a difference upfront for the Foxes who thus far in this half hadn’t really caused Wolves many problems. Leicester finished the game the stronger of the two sides though and saw good chances for Barnes and then Vardy at the end, although Wolves did have a great chance through one of their own subs in Fabio Silva, it ended goalless and both sides picked up a hard-earned point.
Liverpool 1 Manchester City 4
This was a huge game for the Merseysiders, they sat seven points behind City at kick off and knew a win was the only option if they were to keep themselves in the title race, this is because City look unstoppable at the moment and victory for them would put a ten-point gap to Liverpool in fourth, and you feel a gap of that size with 15/16 games to go would be too much to make up. Liverpool certainly had the best chances in the opening half hour, seeing Sadio Mane head over and then Roberto Firmino forced a decent stop from Ederson, but eight minutes before half time City won a penalty after Raheem Sterling was brought down by Fabinho, but Ilkay Gundogan sent his spot kick over the bar, and City had missed a huge opportunity to go in front in a game they had not really got going in thus far.
It is games like this that make you realise that not having fans is a disadvantage as it needed that spark, one where if there was an atmosphere would probably raise the sides level quite a bit, but right now there just wasn’t that spark, could someone find it in the second period, Liverpool were the ones who needed it the most as this was a must win game for them really. But three minutes into the second half Gundogan made up for that penalty miss, as after Sterling had run into the box and found Phil Foden, his effort was well saved by Alisson, but Gundogan fired home the loose ball, and City now had their noses in front, and now Liverpool had it all to do.
Just past the hour mark through Liverpool was given a lifeline after Ruben Dias mis controlled a ball over the top and Mo Salah got in behind him but was pulled back by Dias to give away a penalty, and Salah stepped up to smash home the spot-kick, and Liverpool had hope once again. But Liverpool then shot themselves in the foot with seventeen minutes to go as a poor pass out by keeper Alisson went straight to Foden and he produced a brilliant bit of play down the right to drive to the byline and square for Gundogan who converted from close range, and City was back in the driving seat once again, and unbelievably Alisson made another howler minutes later as he gave the ball straight to Bernardo Silva who chipped to the back post for Sterling to head home, a crazy few minutes from the Liverpool stopper, and one that almost certainly had ruled his side out of this contest now.
And with eight minutes to go City made it four and how, as Foden received the ball on the right before cutting inside and blasting a wonderful effort beyond Alisson, it was a superb strike from the young England star, and a statement to the rest that City are the ones to beat, although it looks very much like the blue half of Manchester will be winning a third title in four years. For Liverpool, it certainly looks like their title defence is over, three straight defeats at home, and they cling onto their top four place, which has to be there focus now, but today was a humbling experience for them no doubt.
Onto the evening game now, and a match between Sheffield Utd and Chelsea from Bramall Lane…
Sheffield United 1 Chelsea 2
The Blades, like West Brom and Fulham, need to win the majority of their remaining games if they have any chance to get out of the bottom three, they are twelve points from safety now so with sixteen games to go it’s starting to get to be an almost impossible task. They welcomed a Chelsea side to South Yorkshire revitalised under new boss Thomas Tuchel and were unbeaten in three without conceding under him so far, so not an easy task for Chris Wilder and his side, but the hosts had won three of their last five, including that win at Old Trafford, so have done well recently.
They nearly had the perfect start as well but saw Oli Burke fire into the side netting from a great position less than a minute into the game, and then Chelsea had a chance when Timo Werner lofted over Aaron Ramsdale, but a covering defender cleared, and then United was awarded a penalty after Chris Basham was brought down by Ben Chilwell, but after VAR had a look, Basham was offside when he received the ball, so the decision was reversed and Chelsea was let off again. Chelsea then failed to convert at the back post after a decent ball in, and all this had happened in the opening quarter of the contest which had been a decent one thus far.
Three minutes before the break and Chelsea put together a great move which saw them grab the lead, Chilwell played a lovely ball into the path of Werner who sent a first time ball back across the box into the path of Mason Mount who was arriving to send a lovely first time finish into the bottom corner, United would have been disappointed to concede so close to half time, but they now had to come from behind to get anything in this one. Nine minutes into the second period Chelsea gift-wrapped the hosts a leveller, as after Oli McBurnie tried to find his strike partner Burke and failed, Anthony Rudiger played a blind ball back to his keeper Eduoard Mendy and didn’t realise he had come out to claim the ball, and the ball rolled into the net for a rather comical own goal and the first goal Chelsea had conceded under Tuchel, however, just before the hour mark Chelsea retook the lead as after Werner had been wiped out by keeper Ramsdale, this after a poor backpass, no penalty was awarded initially until VAR got involved and sent Kevin Friend over to the monitor before he had another look and correctly award a penalty, Jorginho stepped up to convert the spot-kick, and Chelsea were back in front again. Wilder would have been so frustrated at giving away such a soft penalty after getting themselves back into the game, it was a mad few minutes, but The Blades had it all to do again. The hosts had four strikers on the pitch at the end as they tried to find a leveller, with one of those subs Rhian Brewster seeing two shots well blocked, before another sub Billy Sharp saw an overhead kick well saved by Mendy right at the end, but Chelsea saw the game out without much alarm apart from those moments to pick up a third straight win and take them to the cusp of the top four, whilst defeat for United leaves them bottom and almost looking for a minor miracle to get out of trouble.
This is what today’s action has done to the table…
What a weekend for City, they made it ten straight Premier League wins whilst United and Leicester dropped points meaning they are well in the driving seat now, whilst Liverpool must now focus on staying in the top four as a priority as their title chances are probably over now. Chelsea are now the top London side after they went above West Ham into fifth following their victory at Bramall Lane, that defeat for The Blades means they have a twelve point gap to safety still with just fifteen games remaining.
West Brom is not in much better shape after they remain eleven points from safety after losing at Spurs, that result for the North London side sees them just four points off the top four now. That battle for the top four is shaping up to be quite some fight now with five points separating fourth placed Liverpool and ninth placed Villa.
Just one more game to come this weekend, the Monday night football from Elland Road as Leeds United host Crystal Palace with both sides knowing a win takes them into the top ten.
Antonio Brown has been a difference-maker for the Buccaneers since making his Tampa Bay debut in Week 9, but will he be available for Super Bowl 55? That’s one of the big questions heading into Sunday’s game.
The 32-year-old, who sat out the first eight weeks of the regular season after the NFL suspended him for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, missed the NFC championship game with a knee injury. Brown likely would have sat out a contest scheduled for Jan. 31, but fortunately for the Bucs, the extra recovery time could allow him to return against the Chiefs.
Brown isn’t the same impact player he was during his prime years in Pittsburgh, but his presence alone would be valuable for a Tampa Bay offense that also features Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Scotty Miller. You can never have too much firepower when facing Kansas City. Here’s everything we know about Brown’s status ahead of the Super Bowl.MORE: Antonio Brown and 8 others who can win first Super Bowl ringWill Antonio Brown play vs. Chiefs?UPDATE, Feb. 7: Brown is officially ACTIVE for the Buccaneers. Here’s Tampa Bay’s full inactive list:UPDATE, Feb. 5: The Buccaneers listed Brown as questionable on their final injury report. The only other Tampa Bay player with an official designation is tight end Cameron Brate, who is also questionable with a back injury.ORIGINAL, Feb. 3: Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians told reporters that Brown was limited in practice on Wednesday. Tampa Bay safties Jordan Whitehead (shoulder/knee) and Antoine Winfield Jr. (ankle) were also limited.”They got about half a practice in,” Arians said. “Most of them looked pretty good. We’ll see how the swelling goes tomorrow on AB for sure. … Jordan had a non-contact jersey on, but he was flying around, looking pretty good.”During his Wednesday media availability, Brown didn’t offer anything definitive but said the “arrow is pointing up.”
Antonio Brown, on his knee and recovery: “The arrow is pointing up as the week continues to unfold.”
— Greg Auman (@gregauman) February 3, 2021Brown was initially listed as “doubtful” on the Bucs’ Super Bowl injury report, but obviously that designation could change if he continues making progress.
What is Antonio Brown’s injury?Brown injured his knee during the Buccaneers’ divisional round win against the Saints and underwent an MRI. He was considered “day-to-day” but then missed the NFC championship game against the Packers. It wasn’t clear when or how he suffered the injury, but broadcast cameras showed Brown limping on the sideline.Antonio Brown 2020 statsDespite jumping into the offense halfway through the regular season, Brown finished first on the team in receptions per game, tied for third in total receptions and fourth in targets. He quickly earned the trust of Tom Brady, and that connection only became stronger as Brown got more opportunities within Tampa Bay’s system.”Antonio and I connected right away,” Brady said of his relationship with Brown. “He has a great love for the game. [He’s] a real perfectionist about how he plays, how he takes care of himself, incredible football IQ and then a great skill set just as a player. I think [he’s] made incredible strides over the last 12 months to get from where he was at to where he’s at now.”Receptions

You might think you know what the best wings flavor is, but you’re probably wrong.Illustration: Getty ImagesI already know some of you guys’ taste buds are suspect so if you don’t agree with my rankings blame yourself not me.We know that the Super Bowl get-togethers will and should look a little bit different this year considering the United States is still dealing with a global pandemic that has killed over 460,000 people. But that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy some of the same foods that we normally enjoy on arguably the biggest sports day of the year. For many people, wings are the No. 1 Game Day food. Pizza, Rotel dip, and chips and salsa are all up there, but you’d have to be smoking something if you don’t have wings in your game-day rotation. And even then you have to have the best types of wings. You can go ahead and eliminate the flavors that are always doing the most like Garlic Parmesan and Sriracha. If you are bringing those flavors to your Super Bowl party you might as well go ahead and block me now.Other flavors like Mango Habanero and Chipotle were honorable mentions for this list but ultimately I couldn’t put them in the final cut.G/O Media may get a commissionAfter a lot of thought, I have narrowed down my wing flavors to these top five flavors that are needed for your Super Bowl meal.Note: All wings should be eaten with Ranch and Ranch only, if you eat with Bleu Cheese dip you probably have deeper issues that need to be addressed.5. Cajun You always need someone to pull up to the function that has a little spice to them. You need Someone that can pull up to the spot and raise the temperature a little bit without burning the house down. Cajun gives you your spicy fun without having to worry about getting insurance on your home. This is where the Cajun wings come in and why Sriracha and Mango Habanero can both get to stepping cause no one wants to be in tears while watching the Super Bowl.4. Honey Mustard This flavor is the stable friend that you know is going to Cashapp you on time for the party materials but still has a wild side. It has to be in the building. Honey Mustard gives you the tangy taste but won’t leave your tongue begging for a beverage.3. Buffalo The ol’ reliable. This is probably your friend that has lived in the same city his/her whole life and pulls up to the Super Bowl party with a case of Mike’s Hard Lemonade when everybody else brought hard liquor. They are still a fan-favorite, though, for anyone who wants to play it close to the vest so you gotta have it on your menu.2. Lemon Pepper If you don’t have this flavor on your list you might as well not even have wings. Lemon pepper is like a friend you invite over who you wish was more than a friend but you know can’t be more than a friend cause it just gets complicated. But you know you need them in building. The unique taste of Lemon Pepper gives it an undisputed spot near the top.1. Honey BBQ Where can you go wrong with honey barbecue? The answer is you can’t. This is the best friend that acts as the best man or maid of honor at your wedding. Not only is the flavor savory, but it also gives you a sweet after taste. Honey Barbecue is the superior flavor of wings which means it should claim the top spot in our Super Bowl Wing rankings. .

Run It Once Poker also has an AutoSeat blind lobby with fixed buy-ins that makes it fast and simple to get to the tables
And as a way of protecting its players from all of the sharks out there RIO Poker:
Prohibits all third-party tools including HUDs
Limits the number of tables a player can play at one time (this speeds up the games too!)
The project was first revealed two years ago as Galfond felt that the online poker sites at that time lacked “transparency” and he was looking for a “fair, honest, transparent” poker site.
Initially, the site was supposed to launch in Q1 2017. However, the project was delayed for various reasons.
The online poker room is licensed in Malta and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority. The company also holds a license from the UK Gambling Commission in the United Kingdom.
Like most online poker rooms, Run It Once too has a welcome bonus for all new players.
RIO matches 100% of deposits up to €600 for 30 days. The bonus is released incrementally as indicated in the following table. For example, if a player deposits €250, he/she will be credited €5 for every €25 rake they contribute. Once the €100 bonus is cleared, they will receive €10 for every €57.10 for the next €100 batch and so on.

What makes RIO’s Welcome Bonus more appealing is that there is no expiration date to clear the bonus as long as players play at least 1 hand every 30 days. Additionally, all deposits in the first 30 days count towards the bonus and not just the first deposit.
The site initially launched with a standard bonus in the industry i.e., RIO matched first deposit bonus up to €600 with 100% but only the first deposit counted towards the bonus. However, this was later changed to an unlimited number of deposits following the players’ feedback.
No deposit code is required for the Welcome Bonus.

Run It Once Poker charges 4 – 5.75% rake for cash games, with rake cap from 0.50 up to 3.75, depending on the stakes and the number of players playing at the tables.
At No Limit Hold’em, rake is 5.75% at the micro stakes 5.5% at the low to mid-stakes, and it drops to 4% at the NL2000 tables, the highest stakes available. At PLO, it is fractionally lower—4.5% at micros, going up to 5% at PLO50 to PLO5000, then back down to 4% at high stakes.

In general, when compared with other sites, the rake on RIO is notably higher at similar game and stakes. However, with its generous rewards scheme, the “net rake” is much lower than its competitors.
Splash the Pot
Run It Once Poker offers two types of rewards—Legends (see below) and its unique Splash the Pot.
Splash the Pot (STP), as the name implies, returns 51% of all rake taken at the table in the form of extra money dropped randomly to pots. This “splashed” pot is based on the size of the pot on the previous hand. This additional money can vary from 1 big blind up to, on very rare occasions, 1000 big blinds. The winner of the hand takes the extra money.
This innovative way to distribute the rewards has been very well received in general and has been appreciated by all types of players for its innovative take on rewards. According to the company, STP helps it to achieve some of its objectives around rake including rewarding all types of players equally and eliminating unclaimed rewards.
In addition to the RIO’s primary rewards program STP, the room also offers a secondary rewards program called StreamR that encourages players to stream their play on Twitch in exchange for 50% to 110% in additional rakeback based on the number of viewer hours accumulated in a month.
StreamR has a four-level program where players on Level 1 which has been designed to be fairly easy to achieve will need 200 hours of “watch time” for 50% net rakeback. Similarly, Level 4 will require 20,000 hours of watch time and players will be rewarded 110% rakeback.
On top of Splash the Pot, there is also the Legends rewards program. The more you play, the more you get in cashback, as you move through five tiers: Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, Spades and Legends.
Each of these tiers consists of five levels except for Legends, which has unlimited levels. As you complete every level, you are rewarded cash direct into your account, plus a level-up boost (free points towards unlocking higher levels).
You earn one point for every €0.05 in rake paid.
The entry-level “Clubs” tier starts at 10% rakeback, achievable for anyone who earns at least 60 points, equivalent to paying just €3 in rake.
These cash rewards increase as players generate more and more points, thus incentivizing players to put in higher volume—something that stands in stark contrast to the overall industry.
The final tier “Legends” guarantees €900 in cash rewards for every 90,000 points (€4500 in contributed rake) you accrue during a week.

Besides offering a generous rewards program, Run It Once Poker also runs promotions on a daily basis, effectively increasing the value of the rewards up to the equivalent of 80% rakeback and sometimes even higher. There have been direct rakeback promotions, bigger pot “splashes”, rake races and more.
As of February 2021, the operator runs leaderboards across all its games every week. Many of these do not have much competition so can offer some great extra value for players.
The company also plans to run a table starter cashback program, encouraging players to start the table and keep them running.
The site offers a limited range of game offerings, with No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha 6-max cash games starting at €4 buy-in (2c/4c) and going up to €1000 (€5/€10).
The room does not yet offer other game types and formats including tournaments and sit & gos. However, the company recently posted an update on the site’s progress suggesting that the development process for sit & go’s is “well underway” but the company has not provided a timeline yet. The addition of sit & go’s will be the room’s first major post-launch addition.
In November 2020, the operator launched SNG Select. This offers both standard sit and gos, called Classic, and lottery sit and gos, called Cub3d. Cleverly, it uses the same player pool for both games. This means that games go off quite fast, even during quiet times.
Regardless of which you choose, the games are three handed and winner takes all, although if you are playing Cub3d there are special “Glitch” random prizes that can be triggered, rewarding you a prize even if you lose.

Run It Once has its own in-house software offering many of the unique features designed for both the recreational and professional players. Most notably the Dynamic Avatars system, where each opponent has a random avatar that takes on a unique expression based on the player’s recently observed play style.
The cash game lobby is blind with fixed buy-ins, a common trend now in the online poker industry. Play is entirely anonymous, there is no chat box, though a canned chat system is available allowing players to express themselves with a shortlist of emoticons and phrases. Also unique is the player color-coding system, which accents each avatar’s shirt with the chosen color.
There is also a prohibition of all third-party tools including HUDs, cap on multi-tables to up to 6 tables, unique sit out policy.
The client is still in beta mode and will remain in this phase until the platform is “nearly flawless,” according to Phil Galfond, the founder of RIO. The room has been releasing frequent updates adding new features on a monthly basis including resizeable tables, ability to download hand histories, improvements to hotkeys, new table backgrounds and new table layouts, new card options, visual tweaks, etc.
Run It Once Poker is available to both Windows and Mac users.
