Brief scores: CSK (181/0; 17.4 overs) KXIP(178/4 20 overs)
CSK defeated KXIP in 18th match of IPL2020 tournament at Dubai international cricket stadium. CSK bagged 2nd victory this time beating KXIP by 10 wickets. Faf du Plessis was a wonder to watch scoring 87 runs off 53 balls Faf along with Watson collectively aggregated 181 runs. With this performance, CSK has managed to reach the 6th position in the points table. Even Sakshi dhoni wife of MS dhoni was so delighted for the team’s victory that she posted a tweet:

Dhoni said post-match:
“I think we did the small things right. That’s what was important to us. The kind of start we got in batting, that’s what we needed, hopefully, we’ll be able to replicate this is in the coming games.”
KXIP have consecutively lost their battle for the third time. KL Rahul had a great start seeming that they will win (130/2 in 15 overs). But they failed to utilize the last 5 overs. At present, KXIP is last time in point table. KXIP even failed to take any wicket for the first time in IPL history. They should have changed their bowlers but they stuck to the same plan. Except for Mohammed Shami, no bowler from KXIP could exploit CSK. KL Rahul said:
It’s hard being on the loosing side for many games on the trot.we need to comeback harder and stronger. There is no rocket science where we are going wrong. It’s the execution”

IPL 2020: Updated Point Table, Orange and Purple Cap Holders after MI vs RR Match

Categories: IPL News |
Published by: Rohit Sharma

07/10/2020

MI’s are the true champions of IPL and this season too they have maintained their status by winning 4 matches. MI has defeated RR in the 20th match of IPL 2020 tournament by 57 runs in Abu Dhabi. With this winning, they have reached the top of the point table. The credit goes to Surya Kumar Yadav’s amazing 79* off 47 balls. He was entitled Man of the Match award. MI set a tough target of 193 in 20 overs for opponents RR.

The duo Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock opened the match in 1st inning. Jaspreet Bumrah stole all the limelight, by taking 4 wickets in 4 overs. Trent Boult and James Pattinson from MI were among the best bowlers. Hardik Pandya, as usual, was on the faster side, he contributed 30 off 19 balls.
RR, however, failed the run chase, they had a bad opening ( 3 wickets in 3 overs). Sanju Samson, Yashaswi Jaiswal and steve smith were sent back too soon. Even Jos Buttler who scored 70 in 44 balls tried his best but nothing could help RR. Shreyas Gopal’s span from RR was on tougher side as MI could only score 28 runs in 4 overs. He picked 2 wickets.and newcomer Kartik Tyagi picked 1 wicket.
Brief scores: MI (193/4 in 20 overs); RR (136 in 18.1 overs)
After this victory, MI’s are at the top of the point table followed by DC. At 3rd position is RCB and KKR are in the middle (4th position). Below is the current Point table:

Orange Cap Holder (highest run scorers)
No one yet has taken over KL Rahul (KXIP) with 302 runs. He is still on the top. At 2nd position is Faf du Plessis with 282 runs and 3rd is Mayank Aggarwal(KXIP).

Purple Cap holder (Highest Wickets)

IPL 2020, Match 22 : SRH Vs. KXIP Preview; Playing XI’s and Prediction

Categories: IPL News |
Published by: Rohit Sharma

07/10/2020

SRH will face off KXIP in Dubai international Stadium at 7.30 PM IST on 8th Oct 2020. This will be the 22nd tournament of IPL 2020. SRH at present is at 7th position in point table whereas KXIP is the last team (8th position) with just 1 victory this season. Both the teams are trying hard to be in this winning competition. Let’s wait and watch which team will grab this opportunity because another single loss will snatch their chance from reaching the playoffs.

Previews of both teams SRH Vs. KXIP

Sun Risers Hyderabad:
The return of David Warner has boosted the team spirit. but after the injury of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the team has somehow lost its spot, which was clearly visible in the last match against MI. Kumar’s replacement Sandeep Sharma took the major wicket of Rohit Sharma.SRH is known for their best bowlers. Sunrisers at present have NRR (net run-rate) of -0.417 and there is no room for further loss if they want to be in finals. They need to change their batting line up. As Kane Williamson has not been able to impress the viewers after his first match performance.

Probable Playing XIs:  David Warner (C)
Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan, Khaleel Ahmed, Jonny Bairstow, Manish Pandey, Abdul Samad, Sanjay Yadav, Sandeep Sharma, Thangarasu Natarajan, Abhishek Sharma.

Kings XI Punjab:
No one would have expected that KXIP will be at the bottom of ladder, despite their wonderful winning against RCB. KXIP have the best batting unit other than all franchises. It’s the bowling i.e. bothering them; there isn’t any good bowler we have seen till now. They were not able to take even a single wicket in the match against CSK. KL Rahul and Mayank Aggarwal is among the top 3 highest run scorers. KXIP are under a lot of pressure this time and they need to raise their bowling levels to compete.

Probable Playing XIs: KL Rahul (WK/ C)
Chris Gayle. Middle-order: Mayank Agarwal, Nicholas Pooran, Mandeep Singh, Darshan Nalkhande. All-rounder: Mujeeb ur Rahman. Bowlers: Sheldon Cottrell, Mohammed Shami, Ravi Bishnoi, Ishan Porel.

Best batsman to watch:
KL Rahul (KXIP)
Mayank Aggarwal (KXIP)
Manish Pandey (SRH)
David Warner (SRH)
Best Bowlers to watch:
Khaleel Ahmed (SRH)
Rashid Khan (SRH)
Mohammed Shami (KXIP)
Sheldon Cottrel (KXIP)

Our Prediction:
KXIP need to fix many things before they enter battleground like Batting order and also they lack good bowlers the main reason they are consistently losing. So as per our analysis, Sun Risers Hyderabad will win.
